Light.Move.Festival. is the largest light festival in Poland.

The event is free and takes place entirely in an open space in the centre of Łódź. Its programme includes: 2D/3D mapping, i.e. several-minute-long animations presented on buildings, highlighting their architectural details, multicoloured illuminations of historic tenement houses, large-format projections displayed on facades, and light art installations located in parks, arcades and squares.

The spectacle is complemented by numerous music and dance stops, workshops and other accompanying events.

The festival area covers the revitalised centre of Łódź, including the prestigious Piotrkowska Street, the neo-baroque Poznański Family Palace, Łódź parks and arcades. Check out our map HERE

The festival takes place in an open urban space, accessible free of charge to all spectators.

Yes! However, it is worth being prepared for difficult weather conditions – we recommend bringing rainwear and comfortable, waterproof shoes.

Due to increased traffic and changes in traffic organisation during the Festival, we recommend using public transport. To ensure that everyone can travel safely and arrive on time, MPK-Łódź will be running additional services. You can read more about the routes that will take you to the Festival HERE

During Light.Move.Festival., visitors will be able to use numerous free car parks. At the same time, we encourage you to travel to the Festival by public transport. You can find a map and a list of car parks HERE

From the very beginning, the Festival has been prepared with all viewers in mind. The festival programme is designed so that participants of all ages can find something for themselves. We invite everyone to discover Łódź together in a light arrangement!

Of course! This year's 15th anniversary edition also features a new section designed especially for children. We invite you to visit the unique LMF Kids zone, located in Sienkiewicz Park, among other places, where unforgettable attractions await you!

Check out our two food festival zones – you will find them in the Old Market Square and in Paris Commune Square.

Due to the large number of visitors, noise and light effects, we advise against bringing your four-legged friends with you. We are confident that they will also enjoy Łódź during the day 🙂

Yes. The festival takes place in an open and publicly accessible urban space with the necessary infrastructure to enable people with disabilities to move around freely.

Yes! Light.Move.Festival. also features numerous musical performances (including Rebel Babel, Natalia Kukulska, Mery Spolsky, rapper Eldo, Gooral, the Primuz Orchestra with Krzesimir Dębski, and the band De Mono) and accompanying events.
